Iyengar Certification : Level 2
I have been practicing Iyengar yoga for 20 years.
I was first introduced to yoga when investigating ways to reduce stress levels and promote wellbeing within the workplace. Through developing my own regular practice, I began to appreciate the benefits that yoga had on my physical, psychological and emotional health.
It was for these reasons and the desire to share the benefits of yoga that I decided to become a teacher.
I qualified as a teacher in October 2013 and for 7 years taught regular classes at the Yogasarvasya studio in Glasgow’s West End.
During this time, I had the opportunity and privilege to be taught yoga by a number of inspiring, experienced and respected teachers from India, Europe and the UK.
After several months of teaching yoga classes online I am delighted to be teaching classes in person again in a studio environment.
