Biography
I have been interested in yoga since my late teens and attended different classes over the years. In 2012, a few years after being widowed, I relocated back to Glasgow from Ireland and a neighbour told me about a local yoga class. I went along and I discovered Iyengar yoga – and a great senior teacher. Using props really resonated with me and a few years later I started teacher training, which became a 5 year journey to eventually passing and obtaining my Level 1 Certificate in June 2021.
I really enjoy teaching beginners and I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of Iyengar Yoga and how it strengthens and deepens the mind – body connection. As part of a healthy lifestyle, I also enjoy running and feel that one complements the other.
