Iyengar Yoga General Level Workshop

Joe started Iyengar yoga with Richard Agar Ward in 1990. Since that time he has visited Pune on 4 occasions. He holds an intermediate junior 3 teaching certificate, is an assessor and teacher trainer. He lives and teaches in Aberdeen.

Joe believes that postures enter into a dialogue with each other… He writes:

“Of course, trikonasana can be improved by practising more trikonasana, but I am keen to see all postures as part of a web of poses. Thus trikonasana can be improved by practising three or four closely connected postures beforehand. These three or four postures would be improved in their turn by practising trikonasana. Now all the postures enter into a dialogue with each other and are no longer part of a simple linear sequence of postures that are ‘getting more difficult’. This is my approach to my practice and my teaching.”

Suitable for those with more than 6 months experience of Iyengar Yoga.

Booking essential. Please book by Tues 28th August. Any questions contact iyogaglasgow@gmail.com
